Three optional short courses, a field trip to the San Antonio Segment of the Balcones Fault Zone Edwards Aquifer — commonly known as the Edwards Aquifer — one of the most permeable and productive aquifers in the United States, and a hands-on event focusing on dye-tracer and geophysics field methods are also being offered.
